Love my new Nutrimill
My old stone mill died this summer and I could not get it fixed. After much research I finally decided to replace it with a Nutrimill. I told myself I didn't need it for a while, but when they went on sale I was pushed over the edge.
I ordered it from BC, and it came by mail in a few days. Carol at Healthy Kitchens is very knowledgeable about the product.
Yesterday I milled everything I could find from the local health food store. Lentils, chickpeas, navy beans, amaranth, quinoa....
They all milled beautifully. The bean flour is not bitter like it often is when I get it from the health food store.
I made 100% whole wheat biscuits and they were absolutely wonderful. I also made cornbread and used popcorn and a bean flour blend for my wheat intolerant hubbie, and the corn taste was spectacular.
Anyway, I am thrilled with the mill, and it is not too difficult to clean so that I can do both wheat and gluten free stuff. My husband is happy too because he wants the motor from my old mill!!
