Hellooooo Bakers! Big Grin

I need your help please. I've been watching the KitchenAid online store and was wondering what is the difference between a chopper and food processor :\ I've many recipes that require me to use a food processor and I've finally decide to get one. I thought chopper and food processor should have a similar function but their price difference was much as $150 Sad

Thank you all!

Hey Dolly,

The main difference I can see between KitchenAid's Chef Chopper series and their food processors is capacity. The former has a three-cup capacity, the latter is 12-16 depending on the one you're looking at. Obviously the larger size will have a stronger motor and be good for larger processing jobs. Still, the Chopper is a food processor according to their descriptions, so which one you choose would depend on how you plan on using it.

Hope this helps! =)

Do keep it mind that you will have a problem with the voltage difference if getting appliance from the States. I had wanted to get the Cuisinart food processor but gave up and bought the Kenwood one instead.
