Brand new Baker!
Hey Daring Kitchen Community. I'm Charlie. It's past 1 a.m. in Texas and I'm wide awake starring down a full day of classes and studying. My recent food blog frenzy led me to Daring Kitchen this afternoon and I had to join. I've created my blog, and just published my first entry. It's nothing novel, but every blog has to have that first introductory post, right?
It's stating the obvious that I love food and love to cook, and am anticipating that first challenge, but I just wanted to take this chance to introduce myself on the boards. Look forward to seeing what I get out of this.

I just joined today and looking forward to August's baking challenge. I also just started a new blog that I think only my husband and mother-in-law reads. Hehehe. I'm new to baking and basically just use my blog as a compilation of all my notes as I teach myself this skill. Goodluck with your site.

Hello there Daring Kitchen, Charlie, and Karen! I too am new to blogging and The Daring Kitchen. My goal is to learn how to prepare dishes that make my families eyes roll up in their head like Paula Deen does when she tastes her fabulous dishes. I have a long way to go so I too am documenting my adventures in a blog. I love to bake and have had more hits than misses in that area of cooking so I signed up for the baking challenge and can't wait until the September fun!! I am up for the challenge and I have a great family willing to taste test for me!
