Baking with Flowers..

Hi to all! Smile I'm just wondering if you guys know anything about baking with flowers (specifically roses and lavanders)? does it have to be special flowers or flowers from any flower shop will do?

Yes they have to be special flowers. You CANNOT use normal flowers from a florist (or a normal home garden) because the flowers would of been sprayed with chemicals that would be toxic if used. Use roses, lavender and etc that are organic and are grown to be used in baking! They are available in health food shops and in the gourmet section of major supermarkets.

thanks audax! it seems like Australia has varieties of ingredients to buy.. wish i live there.. been watching masterchef australia and it inspires me Smile
