I am a student of food technology in Stuttgart/Germany. I am addicted to food and I love to take beautiful pictures of it.

Because of this passion I started my food blog last summer (2009). I also like to read good books, to ride my bike and to travel. I’m very interested in the food culture in other countries and I love to go in foreign supermarkets, food stores or local markets to discover food, which is not available at home.

How long have you been a Daring Baker/Daring Cook and what’s your favorite thing about being in the group(s) so far?

I am a Daring Baker since September 2009. What I really like about this group, that you are connected to so much people in different countries (in different seasons) and everybody is interpreting the recipe given different.

What’s your favorite kitchen gadget? How about your favorite kitchen appliance?

Since this autumn I’m owning a kitchen machine. And I couldn’t live anymore without it.

First I would buy me my big dream: a kitchen aid. The rest I would spend for a new bike and put the rest aside.

What is the ultimate comfort food to you?

Original franconian potato dumplings.

Which season (Winter, Summer, Spring, Fall) is your favorite.. why?

My favourite season is summer. I like, when it’s hot. I just like every bit of summer. And I especially like the summer fruits. And if we had a beach and the sea here, I would go there swimming as often I could.

How long have you been blogging? Do you like it? What’s your favorite post you’ve written?

I blog since August 2009. I like it very much, but sometimes it’s hard to figure out what to write around the photos. My favourite post is the post about homemade bouillon.

What’s your favorite cookbook for desserts/baking? What’s your favorite cookbook for savory/cooking?

For baking sweet or savoury I like “Pastry” from Michel Roux. It’s very versatile and I freely recommend it to everyone, who loves to bake.

What’s your favorite flower and/or plant?

Hibiskus and buttercups

Who taught you how to cook and/or bake?

My mother , a lot of books and some TV shows.

Spain
