Hi there! I am a Vegan Baker/ Photographer. I graduated from pastry school in December 2008.

How long have you been a Daring Baker/Daring Cook and what’s your favorite thing about being in the group(s) so far?

I’ve been a Daring Baker since June 2009 but those past months were so busy that I wasn’t able to participate until August! It’s great to be in this group to stay motivated and bake desserts I was thinking about baking but didn’t get the chance to get to it!

Do you have a favorite movie?

My favorite movie has always been a Bronx Tale. Great sound track as well!

Where is your favorite vacation (holiday) destination?

Ecuador/ South America is my favorite vacation destination. My family is from Ecuador and I’ve been visiting about every four years.

Favorite flower: Orchid

What is the ultimate comfort food to you?

Mashed Potatoes or basically anything made out of potatoes

What is your favorite cooking/food related magazine? Why?

VegNews – This magazine includes all sorts of information regarding vegetarian and vegan diets and has great recipes too!
