Tiramisu

My tiramisu was outstanding!!! It was quite a bit of work though. I followed directions and most went as described. However, in making the mascarpone, I could not get the cream mixture over 175 degrees. After waiting over 49 minutes (directions said it would take about 15 minutes), I took it off the simmering water and placed the cream in a small saucepan and placed directly over the heat. Once I did that, the rest of the way went well. One other small problem was that my electricity went off twice in the 15 minutes it took to bake the savoiardi. I lost track of the time, but guessed. One tray was perfect, the other got a little too browned on the bottom. In spite of these problems, the final product was wonderful.
