Fresh Sautéed Spinach with Garlic

Fresh spinach pan-sauteed in oil infused with garlic until wilted served warm seasoned with salt and pepper for a dish that will wow even the pickiest eaters.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh spinach
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add whole garlic, and let the oil infuse with the garlic.

  • Wash and drain spinach. Place it in a salad spinner to remove water drops. If you do not remove the water, it may cause oil splatters.
  • Cook the spinach for 2 minutes or until wilted.

  • Discard the garlic.
  • Season the spinach with salt and pepper.
