Water to boil the pasta Salt to taste 1 lb pasta of choice ½ cup butter 1 Lemon zest Pepper to taste 4 cups broccoli florets ¾ cup parmesan cheese
Cook pasta until al dente by adding it to salted boiling water.
3 minutes before draining the pasta, add the broccoli florets to the boiling water.
Melt the butter until browned using a shallow skillet.
Add the zest of one lemon, pepper and salt to taste.
Add the pasta and the parmesan cheese and mix until melted.
