- 12 oz pasta desired kind
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic chopped or minced
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- ΒΌ tsp black pepper

cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve β
cup of the pasta water.
Heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook until fragrant, for 30 seconds.
Add lemon juice and zest. Simmer the mixture until reduced by half.
Add in the cooked and drained pasta. Add reserved pasta water and parmesan cheese.
Stir pasta well and cook until you have an emulsified sauce.
Serve pasta warm, garnished with some chopped parsley.
