Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta desired kind
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic chopped or minced
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • ΒΌ tsp black pepper
  • β…“ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve β…“ cup of the pasta water.

  • Heat olive oil over medium heat.

  • Add garlic and cook until fragrant, for 30 seconds.
  • Add lemon juice and zest. Simmer the mixture until reduced by half.
  • Add in the cooked and drained pasta. Add reserved pasta water and parmesan cheese.
