Askinosie Single Origin Chocolate Bars $25.00

10% discount when using DARINGKITCHEN code in the coupon or gift card entry box at checkout

I've tried many, many varieties of cooking and eating chocolate and this is by far one of my favorite brands. Before I realized that I could buy it online, I used to have to make a 90 minutes trek to get it. The chocolate is delicious, and what's neat is that it's made in small batches in the US. The whole operation, including working with individual farmers, is geared to ensure that only high quality, great tasting chocolate is sold under the Askinosie label.

Emblems Blown Glass Jewelry - Starting at $10.00

10% discount when using DARINGKITCHEN code at checkout

I'm straying from the path of food related gifts just a wee bit; these hand-blown beads are made by an incredibly gifted food blogger, Danielle at Habeas Brulee. She practices law, cooks like a chef, keeps bees, and blows glass into gorgeous pieces of jewelry art. All of her jewelry is by nature one of a kind, so you know that it's really something very special. Wear one of Danielle's pieces and you'll look extra fabulous when you're serving up your brilliant gourmet treats.

Magnetic Glass Jars - Starting at $17.95

10% discount when using the words "daring kitchen" in the “Notes to Seller” box at checkout

I love that these spice jars are magnetized so that they all stay in one place. No more rooting around in a drawer or cabinet to track down wayward spices, just when you're in the middle of a complex recipe. You can use them for herbs and spices, of course, but they are also great for small craft supplies and office supplies. These jars make it so easy to stay organized!

Note from Editor: Ashley, the owner of the Rainy Thursday Etsy shop, wanted to let us know that very soon she'll be opening a new store that features these magnetized jars filled with fresh, delicious spices! So check out her storefront for more news on that in the coming weeks. Smile

EatSmart Precision Pro - Multifunction Digital Kitchen Scale w/Extra Large LCD
and 11 Lb. Capacity $25.00

This is a nice sturdy, accurate, easy to read scale that doesn't take up too much room in your kitchen. Many recipes, especially those for things like breads, give the ingredients by weight; and this scale is sensitive enough to measure small quantities, but can still handle up to 11 lbs.

Jingle Bell Picks $10.95

The jingle bell picks are so fun and festive and perfect for a holiday party. You can use them to serve cheese, fruit, appetizers, or any other nibbly bits you make for snacking. I think it would be neat to use the picks for chocolate truffles, or even to dress up your favorite cocktail.

Red Serving Bowl $33.99

I love the shape of this bowl; it reminds me of a Italian sports car--bright red and low to the ground. This bowl is so versatile you can use it for pastas, fruit, bread, or even as a table decoration filled with ornaments or pine cones. And, it's something you'll use year-round.

Pomegranate Soap $8.00

I love this soap! It's handcrafted from all natural ingredients and is rich in pomegranate seed oil. It makes for nice soft skin, but it's also lovely to look at being shaped and colored like a pomegranate. The soap is made by a small cooperative in Southern Afghanistan as a way to benefit the local economy. All their products are made from the fruits of locally grown plants and trees. Pamper yourself while helping this small cooperative grow and flourish.

Dr. Seuss Mug $12.00

Just looking at this mug makes me smile. The graphics are bright and colorful and very adorable. Mornings are never my best time, but coffee in a Dr. Seuss mug makes the upcoming day seem bearable. You can fill this mug with candy or hot chocolate packets to make it even more special.

Tureen and Bowls $39.99

This 11-piece tureen and bowl set is perfect for all the cold weather soups, stews and chilies. It's nice and sturdy, microwave, and freezer save. I love that the set includes a ladle and matching spoons. The bowls are the perfect size for ice cream, so you'll get use from this set even when it's too hot for soup making.

Culinary Herb Kit $32.95

Nothing compares to use fresh herbs in your recipes, but in the dead of winter the only fresh herbs available in my grocery store are dried out and wilted, and they cost a fortune. This kit makes it easy to grow your own culinary herbs and have them on hand any time you need them. You get 12 different types of seeds, and everything you need to grow gorgeous healthy plants

Adjustable Measuring Cup and Scoop $11.95-$13.95

The Nuscup makes measuring so simple--one device to measure your dry and liquid ingredients. And since it's adjustable, one Nuscup replaces a whole set of measuring cups. it's easy to clean since it's dishwasher safe, and with the handy magnet, you can stick it to your fridge so you never have to dig through your drawers to find it. Measurements are in US and metric.

Travel Tea Press $15.00

A perfect gift for any tea lover. This press makes loose tea as easy to make as tea bags. It's simple to use and portable enough that you can take it with you to work or when you travel. All you do is add hot water, loose tea (or tea bags), steep, press and enjoy.

Knitted Dish Cloths - Starting at $5.00

Who knew that dish cloths could be pretty to look, handmade, and completely functional. These cloths are made from 100% cotton and are strong enough to scrub dirty dishes and counter tops. Most of them are machine washable, making them easy to care for. Kitchen clean-up is never fun, but these cheery dish cloths just may make the job a bit easier.

Cupcake Making Kit $20.95

This kit comes with everything you need to make pretty and delicious cupcakes. There is a recipe booklet, 250 fun colorful cupcake liners, a pastry bag and a variety of tips. It's perfect for both novice and experienced bakers.

Lily Bird Soy Sauce Bowl $33.99

This little bird shaped bowl is just too adorable. I love the cute shape and how colorful it is. If I had this I would make stir-fry every night just to use soy sauce.

Macadamia Nut Blossom Honey $29.00

This honey is deep a deep amber color and full of rich floral and almost nutty flavors. It makes a great topping for pancakes, ice cream, biscuits, oatmeal, and fruit. Use it in baking or to sweeten your morning cup of tea. The honey is made on The Big Island of Hawaii and it's a perfect tropical sweet treat.

La Boheme Measuring Cups $32.00

These measuring cups are truly works of art. The colors and patterns are vibrant and beautiful. In addition to using them to measure ingredients for your favorite recipes, they are pretty enough to leave on your counter to hold small items, or even just for display.

Sedona Mugs $33.99

This is a set of four nice big mugs--16 ounces each, for those days when you need a major influx of caffeine. They are also great for hot chocolate or hot cider, and are nice and wide for dipping cookies in milk. Plus, the colors are so pretty that whatever you're drinking looks extra delicious served in these mugs.

Okay, you've added about 100 things to the list of things I want, never mind gifts! A great selection, and I'm just going to pretend they don't ship to Canada to save myself some money!

Of course, I had to buy a bunch of the items to see if they were really great (and because I have zero willpower when it comes to things for my kitchen).
