Just wondering if anyone happened to know for sure if Michael's carried any edible gold leaf, gold sprinkles, or similar decorations? I'm sure it varies based on location, but if yours has it, there's at least MORE of a reason to drive all the way to mine to check Smile

Anyone use gold decorations from a different source?

Thanks!

Hmm, I bought a 3 pack of gold, silver, and white powder at Michael's to use for decorating. And now it's driving me crazy that I can't remember if it's edible or not Tongue I'm about 90% positive it is edible!

Thank you! I think I'll just drive down and check -- it's not as far as I'm making it sound. It's in the same city and everything; I'm just lazy! Big Grin

Thanks Devious! Thought I'd update to let others know what I found. There are gold sprinkles and gold dust at my Michael's, but no edible gold leaf. It worked out well, though! I used them for Ferrero Rocher cupcakes Big Grin

Here they are if you want to take a peak: http://willowbirdbaking.wordpress.com/2009/07/05/ferrero-rocher-cupcakes...

Thanks again, guys.
